Again, it's been a while since I last wrote here. I wanna keep writing diary in English!!

Although I've never been to a hospital in nearly 10 years, I went to one last week because of asthma. To think back, I drove through the dessert for a few hours to go to Palm Springs a few weeks ago, and it was crazy hot! I assume it's about 40' Celsius! And when I came back to LA at night, it was chilly. Then a few days later, I had to fly to Japan while I started to have a cough.

I've been absorbed in the computer game "The Sims2" on these days. I liked the one before which I could build a house more freely. I know that it takes more than a month, when I'm caught up in the sims, to get out of it. I keep playing for looong time and heat up! It may be one reason of my flu... =<

Oh, I feel I started losing a sense of English which I used to make a guess of meaning and spelling English. When I came back to Japan for vacation, I tried not to forget English cuz I'd come back. But now.. I wanna start reading English books!!

Since October, I've started to work as a CAD operator at a industrial company. Most of all the co-workers are from Toyama perfecture in Japan, since the company was established in Toyama. They are speaking in Toyama dialect at the office in Tokyo! (and it's in Akihabara) Sounds funny. There are Japanese yummy noodle restaurants around the office.

wow!

It's been almost 3 months since I last wrote here.

After I came back to Japan, time passes so fast. Can't believe that "back to school" season is coming in a month, when I have to go back to the U.S. and clear up my belongings and meet old friends.

I sometimes still wonder if it was a right choice to come back to Japan right now. I know that I couldn't go farther anymore, but sometimes regrets passes in my mind. I wanted to overcome every hardnesses I met in the U.S. and smily come back to Japan with diploma of architecture. To go on in the architectural field, finishing school is almost mandatory (not mandatory but having it is the fastest way) to a licensed architect. I don't wanna be tightened up with those lisence, or accredits, but it's just one kind of ways.

At the company I work now, I feel I'm the best human machine for that job. I only type in words and numbers about medicine. No need to think at all. At the end of the day, I forget how to think. It might be wrong to say, but I feel it's like sports which you don't think, but do it. I don't wanna think too deep right now. I wanna be free from something.

These are the pics from aquarium in Long Beach.

Last Thursday, I went to Santa Barbara for the first time in 5 years! But I could still remember the gas station I stopped to look for a cheap motel. And a little pond on the beach was still remained. I got so excited!! I ate fresh oyster and crab tacos on the pier. After lunch, I visited Santa Barbara Mission Church. I didn't know since I visited it that there are a lot of churches (actually, 21 churches along the coast line) called missions in California which was built by Spanish Franciscans. This Santa Barbara mission was built in 1786 in order to spread christianity among indians. "Spain had lost California to Mexico in 1822 and in 1834 the mission was secularized." (according to the brochure

Everytime I go to the churches, I feel so calm inside, and I tried to feel the everyday life at the church at that time. There was a courtyard with lots of flowers and a fountain,  and that gave me some kind of idea about how to make a closed community effective, to create strong feeling of fellowship.

Anyway, the last part of the building was a graveyard, and after I went through every tombs, I lost an exit. So I had to go around the graveyard again. There were another visitors who seem to lost the exit, too. It could be a game "who is the coward?"

I might go back to Japan in June. Longing to see you!! Mayo, Chrissy!!  There must be lots of Hanabi Taikai!!!!!
